The Cowlitz County Store opened in April 2009. Our purpose is to support our mission of building simple, decent, affordable homes and extend our partnership opportunities throughout Cowlitz County.
How Does Habitat for Humanity’s Store work?
#1 – You donate new or gently used household goods, appliances, furniture and building materials to our store. Donations may be tax deductible! Items may be used in our build projects or sold in the Store to the public.
#2 – All of the new and gently used items in the Store are sold at a substantial discount to the community.
#3 – The Store sells items that might otherwise have filled our local landfills. By recycling these items, CCHFH helps to keep unnecessary landfill waste to a minimum.
IT’S A WIN WIN FOR EVERYONE!!
